Nigerian blogger and a US Nigerian trained pharmacist Dr. Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo on twitter revealed that she was struck by lightning this morning.
The popular blogger revealed that the bolt hit the table where she was washing her clothes before she was placed off her feet. The Nigerian blogger Dr. Kemi miraculously escaped an incident that could have been tragic. The blogger took to social media to reveal that she was struck by lightning.
The contentious blogger stated that she was given treatment to calm her nerves. The blogger advised people to stay indoors whenever it rains in other to avoid what happened to her.
Dr. Kemi in her words said: “My doctor prescribed anxiolytic meds to calm my nerves & palpitations. I slept for over 4 hours. I feel like I DIED and returned. My dad says I have 9 lives and today he’s right. I’m still shaken. Please stay indoors in any storm regardless of obvious lightning or not.
“The blogger shared a tweet announcing her ordeal. She noted that she immediately dove to the ground when the lightning struck and hit the table she had been washing on. Olunloyo stated that her heart had stopped for twenty seconds before she was revived. She said: “This morning at 8:06 am I was struck by lightning behind my house in an early morning storm. It was a ⚡bolt the whole city saw. I dived to the ground fast before it hit the ground. It hit the table I was washing on. My heart stopped for 20 secs and was revived.”
